The goal of Internal Auditing is to ensure long-term success for companies by examining and optimizing internal processes for legality, efficiency, and economic viability. In the Master’s program in Internal Auditing and Artificial Intelligence, students learn how to efficiently process the continuously growing data volumes in companies using AI and how AI-supported auditing can contribute to the optimization of business processes and decisions. The focus of the program includes the following subjects:

Our students learn to:

• understand and apply the fundamentals, methods, and techniques of internal auditing, including methods for data analysis using artificial intelligence.
• utilize basic and detailed knowledge about the structure and functioning of an auditing department.
• access a comprehensive overview of current fundamentals for internal auditing.
• gain a better understanding of strategy and leadership within companies and evaluate them.
• apply auditing processes, including risk-oriented audit planning, risk catalogs from DIIR, as well as on-site audits with reporting and follow-up.
• use interdisciplinary methods and competencies learned in artificial intelligence across various industries
