STA - Summer Term Abroad

The STA (Summer Term Abroad) program is mandatory for MSM students of the Master of Science in Business Administration (MBA) study track and optional for all other graduate (MSTA program) and undergraduate (BSTA program) students.

By taking two 3 hour courses at one of the partner universities thru June and July during the second block of the summer semester, MSM students can earn and transfer up to 12 ECTS credits. In addition, they can extend their stay up to three months by pursuing an internship or by working on a scientific project. MSM students have the opportunity to choose one out of the following partner institutions:

  • HKBU - Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, China
  • IUP - Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, PA, USA
  • Lehigh University - Iacocca Institute, Bethlehem, PA, USA
  • MSU - Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS, USA
  • SU - Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan

In addition, the STA is also possible at some other universities in Europe and Asia.
