By car
You can reach the University campus in Duisburg from two large motorways ("Autobahn"):
- A40 exit Duisburg-Kaiserberg
Please follow the signs "Zoo/Universität"
- A3 exit Duisburg-Wedau
Please follow the signs "Zoo/Universität"
You will find a limited number of parking spaces around the institutes and lecture halls. In addition, you may use the large parking lots on Mülheimer Straße between the zoo and the campus at any time without fees.
By train/bus from Duisburg's main station ("Duisburg Hbf")
- please use the subway-line 901, stop "Zoo/Universität" (M area, Mülheimer Straße),
- or the bus lines 924 and 933 stops "Universität" (L area, Lotharstraße) or "Uni-Nord" (M area, Mülheimer Straße)
- or the bus line 924, stop "Oststr." (B area, Bismarckstraße).
Busses go every 15-30 minutes; the ride takes about 10 minutes.
